A year has gone by. Here some of the major things that happened:
1. THESIS-OVER: lecheng thesis yan. may katapusin din pala. FINALLY! Nagpay-off ang pagod, dugo, pawis, luha at pera (ni Mike Sy). PHEW. Naka 1.5 kame. Okay na ko dun. Kahit hindi na bound, at least pasado. Tsaka pamatay ang panel namen (Go-Javier). Umabot pa nga sa point na pinagtatawanan na kame ni Stella Go. Buti nalang mabaet si Dr. Javier at sinuportahan kame ni Dr. Marco at pumasa din kame. HAAI.
Nagpapasalamat ako kay Lord dahil binigyan nya ako ng lakas at talino para matapos un. Sa mga partners ko, Regi Pua at Mike Sy, dahil hindi nila ako iniwan. Kay Dr Marco para sa pagmementor sa amin. Sa lahat ng respondents namen at sa lahat ng tumulong.
2. Graduation: That day that we all have been waiting for. FINALLY. And on that special day, kasama ko si JV. Sabay kame grumaduate. WHOOHOO.

I'm putting here the things that I have emailed to my batch in BSS. Haha. Most of it are cheesy, some are demanding, others are pure motivational. Haha. I was overwhelmed by what Tracy Kua replied on my latest (or I think my second or last email to the BSS people). Grabe. Siguro nga nagmature ako dahil sa BSS (or baka tumanda kasi ganun daw un pag lage kang busy e, ang bilis tumanda hahaha)

Guys, accred results will be out next next week either on the14th or 15th. I'm not expecting a high grade, what my senses tell me is that we will be either stuck up with rank 15 or go down until 20. Pero pucha BULLSHIT naman ang accred e! I know and you know that we all gave our best. We set new records for the org for other incoming batches to beat . We have served our batchmates and the lower ones well enough. We revolutionized the org, physically and systematically. Most of all, we made the org a united family-barkada wherein no matter what batch one is, s/he is utterly most welcome.
Guys kahit anung resulta pa man ang lumabas diyan sa accreditation na yan, wala na kong pakealam. Numbers are just numbers, and it can never really exactly tell what we had experienced, what we had to get through and what we had done. I'm proud of you guys for having this journey with me until the end (pota parang mamatay na ah hahah, syempre figuratively speaking (Chris sabihin mo lang kung dumudugo na hhaah)). I hope that you had fun and enjoyed every bit of this (naku parang mahirap ata gawin un. haha) and you have benefited from all of this learning experience. I also hope that whatever support you gave to me and for the org during our year will never ran out for the other future batches to come.
I'll keep you updated for the results. Sana mataas. Hahahah. CROSS FINGERS

Night before the accred. haha
Guys, tomorrow will be the 2nd accreditation of the organization. This means, we will be evaluated and graded by the CSO and SLIFE once again. This accreditation will determine the rank of the org within the CSO. Also it would determine if the org would be under probation or not, depending on the scores. If we fail, we will be on probation. Two probations = Disbandment of the org.
I need your prayers for us to present a good defense for tomorrow. Having seen the present activities and its documentations, I personally believe that because of our poor perfomance last two terms, we might drop down the rankings.
But still, this defense is our only chance. Malay mo yung ibang orgs din mas late pa sa atin? Or mas mahina sila. Hahaha. Kahit anu man mangyayare sa accred, proud ako sa inyo because I know, kahit super late ang mga docus natin, we gave a good run and we made our marks here in the org and truly we are the best no matter what! Haha!

My last speech as president of the organization. Grabe. Naiyak ako dito.
Good morning Behavioral Sciences!
Last night, officially, we have turnover our positions to the 107 people. The party was a blast and I like to thank everyone who came and made it very successful.
As I leave my position, here are somethings I'd like to say to everyone. Becoming the president of this organization is pretty tough. Surely this has been a hell of a roller coaster ride. I have been to the best of times and the worst of times with this organization. I almost lost everything, but as I soul-searched, I discovered that I didn't lose everything for BSS is still with me. In this roller coaster ride, I would'nt made it through the end with out YOU who continued to support, trust and love me.
To BSD super thank for your uttermost support for the org. Sa mga times na pinarequire or nagpaincentives kayo para lang magka-audience kame, sa knowledge na binibigay ninyu sa amin for further improvement of the projects and the org itself, sa pagiging resource persons namen, sa mga contacts na binibigay ninyu sa amin, to the help that we always ask and you continue to give THANK YOU THANK YOU talaga po :)
To the ALUMNI super thank you for still supporting BSS, particularly my batch. Kahit na may mga trabaho na kayo nagagawa nyu padin sumiksik ng oras para sa amin. Start of the year preparations. haha
Attached are the Calendar of Activities and GOSM for the third term. Please read them thoroughly and if there are objections reply lng. I assure you that the COA is feasible if and only if we do the right planning and execution.
Also
Effective today, Mondays will always be a BSS Meeting day (430-m213). This Monday's agenda will be the GOSM. The succeeding Monday's will be held for planning of activities that are near or within that Monday. Ginawa ko toh para masolve ung issue na dhl hnd alam ni ganito na may ganung activity. And para as a team matulungan ntn ung taong may project. We are all in this together. I expect that everyone should listen to the report of the person na may project within or near those week.
Also please check your email regularly kasi minsan hindi ako nagtetext.
There might be times na walang meeting and there might be times na isasama natin ang mga 107.
Ruling regarding tardiness and absence apply. Remind ko lng. Excused absences are only permited if they have informed me or nice day before the meeting (so sundays). Kahit na nataas ang presyo ng lahat ng bagay, ung presyo ng late at absence ay pareho padin. 50 pag late and plus 50 pag late pa ng 30mins. 100 pag absent. Susundin ang relo ni Annie.

In case you haven't heard yet, there is a small problem that had occurred a while a ago (and it is not the course cards grades). We might (or already) be in suspension due to some docu problems and it will last for a term.
BOTTOM LINE
Baka wala na tayong third term. Depende nalang un sa meeting sa January. So i need you all to pray for a miracle to happen. Mejo strict sila e. Pag ngyre un, at least wala na tayong poproblemahn dba? hahaha.
In case mangyayare un, magreresign na ako since bagsak ako sa mga subjects ko and I felt that I lacked the leadership and or skills to run this organization. Mejo naging maluwag ako at pinabayaan ko kayo. Sorry for that, akala ko okay na, pero lage maleng ang akala. I realized that dreams are just dreams and sometimes it doesn't come true pag talagang malas ka.

I think this is the perfect moment to reward (via praise) or appreciate those people who have contributed to this term's success. Due to the hectic or (as the UP people would say) toxic second term, we, particularly myself, have forgotten to say a simple "thank you" or "job well done" to the people that contributed their blood, sweat, tears, influence, pride and money for the success of the projects at hand.

Good Morning!
Yesterday during the Council Board Meeting held in the CSO office, we were given the results of the accreditation. To my dismay, we ranked 17th overall. We degraded four steps down from last year's batch. But the funny thing is we have an average grade of 85.6 overall. For me it is a high grade already but unfortunately the other organizations performed better than I was expecting. The highest grade for this year's first accred came from ECESS having 90. something something. Then the top ten orgs have close grades (as in close close lang. parang 3 ata ng tie for 90, tpos 3 ng tie for 89 tpos 4 ngtie for 88)

Magaleng tayo this term. Ginawa natin lahat. Nagsacrifice and all. Pero yung ibang org mas magaleng. Gumawa tayo ng madameng milagro. Nataas natin lahat- pera and membership. Nakakafrustrate kasi mababa ang rank.
Nakausap ko si Macy regarding this. Sabe nya, nagkataon lang daw talaga na ngperform din ng maganda yung iba. Nagkataon lng yun. Hai ang malas naman. Pero sabe nya ok naman daw yung org ntn.
SO ETO ang CHALLENGE KO
Alam naman natin na kaya natin e. Feel ko nagtie-tie lng ung mga nakakuha ng 87-85 kaya mababa rank natin. Pero kung tutuusin mataas talaga ang grade. So this term and next term, anu ipur-pursue pa ba natin ung dream natin (or dream ko or challenge ko) na maging number one tau? KAYA YAN!
I think this is what we should do this term:
1. Support all activities. Malakeng impact pag majority of the members attended the activity.
2. Train now, be better next year. This i am pertaining to the 107 people and to the 108. Guys we need extra hands. Stressed na din kame sa thesis namen. Please please help us. Pleeeesee
3. Officers: Patience. Konting pihit nalang. Eto nalang ang last chance natin. Please.
4 Have faith, fun and optimism. Pag nakuha nating tong tatlong toh magiging enjoy ang service natin for the OSDM people.

Natanong ko sa sarili ko kung panu na ang BSS 08-09 kung wala si Chui. Kasi alam naman nating lahat na 1 term nlng si Chui, tpos sa second term wala na sya sa school. Bute nalang ng work sya at napatagal pa. Dine-dread ko tong araw na sasabhn ni Chui na aales na sya sa school kasi for me si Chui ung naging parang beacon of hope ko. Bago palang magstart ung year sinabe ko na sa sarili ko kaya toh, anjan naman si Chui to guide and help us along the way. Not to be selfish, pero ayaw ko tlga mwala si Chui. Pero ganun talaga. Life must go on. .

I think this is the perfect moment to reward (via praise) or appreciate those people who have contributed to this term's success. Due to the hectic or (as the UP people would say) toxic second term, we, particularly myself, have forgotten to say a simple "thank you" or "job well done" to the people that contributed their blood, sweat, tears, influence, pride and money for the success of the projects at hand.

Good Morning!
Yesterday during the Council Board Meeting held in the CSO office, we were given the results of the accreditation. To my dismay, we ranked 17th overall. We degraded four steps down from last year's batch. But the funny thing is we have an average grade of 85.6 overall. For me it is a high grade already but unfortunately the other organizations performed better than I was expecting. The highest grade for this year's first accred came from ECESS having 90. something something. Then the top ten orgs have close grades (as in close close lang. parang 3 ata ng tie for 90, tpos 3 ng tie for 89 tpos 4 ngtie for 88)

Magaleng tayo this term. Ginawa natin lahat. Nagsacrifice and all. Pero yung ibang org mas magaleng. Gumawa tayo ng madameng milagro. Nataas natin lahat- pera and membership. Nakakafrustrate kasi mababa ang rank.
Nakausap ko si Macy regarding this. Sabe nya, nagkataon lang daw talaga na ngperform din ng maganda yung iba. Nagkataon lng yun. Hai ang malas naman. Pero sabe nya ok naman daw yung org ntn.
SO ETO ang CHALLENGE KO
Alam naman natin na kaya natin e. Feel ko nagtie-tie lng ung mga nakakuha ng 87-85 kaya mababa rank natin. Pero kung tutuusin mataas talaga ang grade. So this term and next term, anu ipur-pursue pa ba natin ung dream natin (or dream ko or challenge ko) na maging number one tau? KAYA YAN!
I think this is what we should do this term:
1. Support all activities. Malakeng impact pag majority of the members attended the activity.
2. Train now, be better next year. This i am pertaining to the 107 people and to the 108. Guys we need extra hands. Stressed na din kame sa thesis namen. Please please help us. Pleeeesee
3. Officers: Patience. Konting pihit nalang. Eto nalang ang last chance natin. Please.
4 Have faith, fun and optimism. Pag nakuha nating tong tatlong toh magiging enjoy ang service natin for the OSDM people.

Natanong ko sa sarili ko kung panu na ang BSS 08-09 kung wala si Chui. Kasi alam naman nating lahat na 1 term nlng si Chui, tpos sa second term wala na sya sa school. Bute nalang ng work sya at napatagal pa. Dine-dread ko tong araw na sasabhn ni Chui na aales na sya sa school kasi for me si Chui ung naging parang beacon of hope ko. Bago palang magstart ung year sinabe ko na sa sarili ko kaya toh, anjan naman si Chui to guide and help us along the way. Not to be selfish, pero ayaw ko tlga mwala si Chui. Pero ganun talaga. Life must go on. .

Anyway. This year was a good run. Masasabe ko na 2/4ths akong successful. Bakit? Sinabe ko sa accred noon na tataasan ko membership at pera ng org. Sinabe ko din na papalakasin ko ung linkages. Tapos sinabe ko sa dept na makaka 90 kame na average. At lastly sinabe ko sa EB na hahanapan ko ng girlfriend si Chris. Hahahahaha. Anyway, out of the four goals, I have accomplished the two. Ung last two mejo malabo. Si Chris onti nalang. Ehehe oh well. Thank you sa lahat ng taong nagpasaya, tumulong at nagtiwala sa akin para sa org. Mahal ko kayo!
Funny how destiny played her part. I knew from the beginning (before Cata came into the picture) that Lyca would be the one who would replace me. I remembered that time I was in Trinoma I think I was with Ren and during that day I got some contacts to 107 (Tam, Lyca, Adrian). I was strolling in Trinoma and suddenly it hit me. I just thought of texting the 107 to be active in BSS. That time, I couldn't text Tam nor Adrian because their line wasn't globe and I could not afford spending my regular load to them, so I texted Lyca to fully maximize the Unlitxt feature. As I texted her, I kept badgering her to become active. I didn't stop texting her to join BSS and be active. Until finally she said yes and then I realized that she will be my bet for their year's election.
Funny how destiny plays. Haha.
